§ 312-67. Notice of removal.

  It shall be the duty of the Commissioner of Police to ascertain to the extent possible the last record owner and lienholer, if any, of the vehicle and to notify such owner and lienholder, if any, by certified mail, return receipt requested, and by regular mail of the removal and storage of such vehicle and of the amount which will be required to redeem same; the amount of unpaid parking summonses which must be paid at the time of redemption of the vehicle; and that title to such vehicle shall vest in the City of New Rochelle and that such vehicle may be sold at public auction or otherwise disposed at the direction of the Commissioner of Police if not redeemed within 30 days of such notice.
