§ 312-68.2. Proper Display of Parking Permits.

  • A. 
    A parking permit issued under this Chapter shall be displayed at all times when parked in an authorized space, and in such a manner that the entire face of the parking permit is visible from the outside of the vehicle.
    B. 
    The parking permit shall be hung by the City-issued hangtag from the rear view mirror or displayed on the dashboard near the vehicle registration and clearly visible to an officer from the outside of the vehicle.

    C. 
    Failure to properly display the permit shall be subject to a fine of $50 for each and every day of such improper display.

    Editor's Note: This ordinance also repealed former Subsection D and redesignated former Subsection E as Subsection D.
    D. 
    If a second vehicle is found in a lot or garage on one permit, the second vehicle will be ticketed. For this infraction, the permit will also be suspended for one month for the first offense and revoked for the second offense.
