§ 281-49. Enforcement; penalties for offenses.

A.The Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized, with the approval of the City Manager and the Commissioner of Police, to designate persons in the Department of Public Works to enforce the provisions of this article and any implementing regulations adopted thereunder.B.Any person found guilty of an offense against this chapter or the State Code shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $2,500 for a first offense and not more than $5,000 for a second or subsequent offense within three years of a first or other offense of this chapter, or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both. Each and every day a violation continues shall be considered a separate and additional violation.
