§ 52-1. Coverage.

The City of New Rochelle, pursuant to Section 218 of the Federal Social Security Act and Article 3 of the Retirement and Social Security Law, will provide old-age and survivors insurance coverage for eligible officers and employees effective on June 16, 1956.
